The EMA Mail Import Tools do not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal data on any server or cloud service operated by ARTEC IT Solutions. All data remains on the machine running the software.
The "ConvertFrom-ExchangeOnlineMailbox" cmdlet is a PowerShell command that forms part of the EMA MailImport Tools module published by ARTEC IT Solutions.
Its sole purpose is to read email messages from a Microsoft 365 mailbox via the Microsoft Graph API and write them to an EMA ImportPak stored at a local destination chosen by the administrator running the command. This is a one-way, local migration operation.
ARTEC IT Solutions operates no backend, cloud service, analytics pipeline, or telemetry endpoint in connection with the EMA Mail Import Tools. Specifically, we do not collect:
No data ever leaves the machine on which the cmdlet is executed.
The EMA Mail Import Tools do not collect, store, or process any personal information from users. The app is designed to function without requiring the collection of personal data.
The EMA Mail Import Tools do not collect telemetry or track how you use the app. We do not maintain logs of your interactions with the app or any other usage statistics.
The EMA Mail Import Tools do not use any third-party CDN, analytics provider, logging aggregator, or cloud storage service.
Because ARTEC IT Solutions does not receive or store any data processed by the EMA Mail Import Tools, questions of cloud data residency and retention are not applicable. Administrators are solely responsible for the local output files produced by the migration and should apply their organization's data-handling policies accordingly.
Because no personal data is collected or processed by ARTEC IT Solutions in connection with the EMA Mail Import Tools, obligations under the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and comparable privacy regulations do not arise on our side. Administrators who use the EMA Mail Import Tools to process personal data within their own infrastructure remain the data controller for that processing and are responsible for their own compliance obligations.
If the EMA Mail Import Tools are updated in a way that changes its data-handling characteristics, this policy will be updated and a new effective date will be shown. We do not expect any such changes, as the design intent is to remain a fully local, offline-capable tool. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
